Build A Shape

Game

A rope is placed near participants with eye’s closed. To make is more difficult you can move the rope after everyone has closed their eye’s. The team must first find the rope, then unravel it completely while each holding a section of the rope and make a perfect shape (square, triangle, rectangle, etc.) using the rope, all within an allotted time. 

The Rules: No one may use verbal communication during the game. Everyone must hold the rope in their hands the whole time. Letting go for even a short period of time is not allowed.

Concept

This activity focuses on communication both listening and speaking without non-verbals. The game also exposes group problem solving, leadership and team effectiveness.
